Piney Orchard Ice Arena

The Piney Orchard Ice Arena is home to the Maryland Black Bears, members of the North American Hockey League. We doubled the size of the existing 22,000 sq. ft. facility. Pre-Engineered steel spans the 100 ft width and accommodates the extensive HVAC and refrigeration systems that an ice rink requires. The work involved constructing a complicated foundation system and super-insulated exterior shell.
